Hershey Kiss Cookies - Hershey Kiss Cookie Recipe


Hershey Kiss Cookies Hershey Kiss Cookies are a Hershey's favorite. Bake these delicious peanut butter cookies, each topped with a milk chocolate Hershey's Kiss. A delicious Hershey Kiss cookie recipe!

This recipe has very minor changes from the Peanut Butter Blossoms cookie recipe from the popular cookbook, Hershey's Recipe Collection.



Ingredients:
48 Hershey's Kisses
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup additional sugar

Instructions for Hershey Kiss Cookies:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove wrappers from chocolate kisses.
2. Beat peanut butter and shortening with electric mixer on medium speed in a large bowl until well blended. Add 1/3 cup sugar and brown sugar. Beat until fluffy.
3. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually beat into peanut butter mixture.
4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in the additional sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Cookies will crack around edges. Remove and place on wire racks to cool.



Makes approximately 4 dozen cookies.
