Sip Delicious Mexican Hot Chocolate

Mexican Hot Chocolate

Mexican hot chocolate is easy to make and the perfect drink for cold, winter days. Wooden molinillos are the traditional Mexican tools used to mix the chocolate and create a frothy chocolate drink. You can pour the mixture into a blender to create the same effect.

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 ounce Mexican Chocolate with Cinnamon
(Ibarra and Le Soledad are two brands you could use.)

Instructions:
1. Heat milk and chocolate in a pan over low heat.
2. When heated thoroughly, pour mixture into a blender and blend until frothy.
3. If desired, you can top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Note: Mexican chocolate is dark chocolate mixed with sugar and sometimes cinnamon. It can be purchased in disks, bars, or syrups.
