Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe
This Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe has chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. It's a simple recipe that begins with a chocolate cake mix and a package of chocolate pudding. The bundt cake is then topped with a yummy chocolate glaze.
Ingredients for Cake: 1 box chocolate cake mix 1 package instant chocolate pudding 4 eggs 1 cup sour cream 1/3 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions for Cake: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt pan. 3. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, sour cream, butter, and water in a large mixing bowl. Blend for 4 minutes and pour into Bundt pan. 4. Combine walnuts and sugar. Use a spatula to swirl walnuts and sugar through the batter. 5. Bake for approximately 50 minutes. 6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. 7. Turn out onto a wire rack to completely cool cake. 8. Top cake with chocolate glaze.
Ingredients for Glaze: 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate 3 tablespoons butter 1 cup sifted powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons hot water
Instructions for Glaze: 1. Melt chocolate and margarine in the top of a double boiler. 2. Remove mixture from the heat and stir in sugar and vanilla. 3. Stir in a little water at a time until glaze is the desired consistency.
