Chocolate Sponge Cake Recipe

Ingredients: 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips 4 large eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 pinch of salt 1/2 cup flour
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Line the bottom of a 9 inch tube pan with parchment paper. Cut to the correct size. (You can also use waxed paper.) 3. Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler. 4. Beat eggs in a medium bowl until light. Gradually add in the sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. 5. Stir in the melted chocolate chips. Sift the flour into the bowl. Gently fold in the flour. Pour mixture into the pan and bake for 45 minutes. 6. Frost or top with syrup as desired.
