Coca Cola Cake Recipe

This coca cola cake recipe makes a deliciously moist chocolate cake. The fudge-like chocolate frosting makes this cake a special treat.

Ingredients for cake:
1 box white cake mix
1 cup Coca Cola
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup Hersheys cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups minature marshmallows

Instructions for cake:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
2. Combine and mix on medium speed for 2-3 minutes: cake mix, coca cola, eggs, buttermilk, butter, cocoa, and vanilla. Fold in the marshmallows until mixed in well.
3. Pour mixture into the baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes or until done. Cool to room temperature.

Ingredients for frosting:
1/4 cup Hersheys Cocoa
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup coca cola
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts (or your favorite nuts),if desired

Instructions for frosting:
1. Melt cocoa and butter in a small pan over low heat. Stir in the coca cola. Stir constantly as you bring this mixture to a boil.
2. Remove pan from the heat and blend in the powdered sugar. Stir in the walnuts or other nuts, if desired. Spread over the cake.

Serves 10-15
