Recipe Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Try out this easy recipe chocolate covered pretzels. Use your favorite type of chocolate to dip pretzels in to make this super simple chocolate treat.
Ingredients for this Recipe: 6 oz. package of your favorite chocolate chips or pieces (semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or white chocolate) 1 tablespoon Crisco Approximately 50 small twisted pretzels
Sprinkles or nuts, if desired
Instructions: 1. Melt chocolate chips and Crisco in the top of a double boiler. 2. Remove double boiler from heat. 3. Drop pretzels one by one into the chocolate mixture. Lift out with tongs. Shake lightly to let excess chocolate drop off into the pan. 4. If desired, shake sprinkles or nuts onto each pretzel. 5. Place on wax paper to dry.
It's fun to use sprinkles for the holidays: red and green for Christmas, pastels for Easter, etc.
